I am scheduled to have a right total knee replacement on Monday March 11, 2013. I tried to talk my Doctor into letting me get both done at the same time and he advised against it. I was told that with the Fibro just having one knee done is going to throw me into a major flare, sure not looking forward to it. Has anyone had a major surgery that could give me any feedback on how they felt or what I can expect.
I am in pain and scared.

So glad the surgery went well. I'm praying for continued pain relief for you.
As for taking your meds to the hospital...I would DEFINITELY take my pain meds along. I hear too many horror stories of people being in awful pain and not getting enough help from the hospital wimpy treatments...well, not always...sometimes the hospital does ok for pain. But I hear this enough to know I'd have my pain meds with me.
