I went in to have an ultrasound of my thyroid today, and a mammogram, my breasts are fine. But my thyroid is not, now I have to worry about having thyroid cancer? Are you kidding me? Geesh, first MS, then Fibro and now this. I have to get a fine needle biopsy of my thyroid and I'm scared to death. Sorry to unload on everyone, but why does everything happen all at once? I'm overwhelmed. (((hugs)))

If you have a thyroid issue, however, that might be fixable and thyroid can cause a lot of FM-like stuff---so as Emily said, it may be a hopeful outcome in the end.
