This might be harder than it seems, but if you can find a massage therapist, maybe one that works in a Chiropractic office that really knows the in's and out's of triggerpoint work, I can guarantee your pain will start to free up. I live up near Seattle that I know is too far away and expensive to come. This really works Barbara.

Check out this website for Meridian therapy. Many of the exact meridian points match up with the Triggerpoints. You can go to a professional Accupunchturist and let them do it .. The needles are not painful. I use pressure, triggerpoint therapy methods.

Hoppy I did not want to mention the medication part of my regimine, actually no tough to get than Heroin Black tar . I do not use pills I use Nalbuphine (nubain) you look it with your doc. see how good your doc is. I use lydocaine and nubain, one for needle point injection, one for general systemic pain relief, the docs are not my friends anymore.

See if you can get it and you inject it yourself, nothing really too it just get 1cc number # 29-3/4". look it up on the net and print it out, unless you know exactly what the blurb sheet is indicating, call the dadio of the Radio (kidding), look it up ln the Net but understand it fully where you go cause you might be in for a squabble. If you duke it out and win, let me know!!for sure, I need input.

I again just want to send out a big HUG to all of you, you are all so wonderful for taking the time to share your stories and advice with me. It really is so helpful to be able to come here and read all of your posts. My doctor added celebrex today after I spoke with him over the phone. My ankles and 1 knee are very swollen and red and hot. Walking was impossible, he said either the autoimmune arthritis triggered the FM or the other way but both are terribly flared up. I took a celebrex earlier tonight, and I think it did help a bit, maybe mixed with resting today. I am feeling better emotionally, thank god, and I do know this will pass. We have lots of rain here the last few and next few days, and this most definately aggravates everything. I am in NH. I have read about alot of different medication options. Its been very helpful, and it gives me alot of new things to talk to with my doctor.

You have the mightest of engines, un restricted in power and energy, you rock girl!, You have the magic to ask for and pay attention to and use, advice. You can benefit from the training, and experience of others. You do not have to kick every tire turn over every rock. You can and will overcome anything, advance beyond as many others as you wish.

Over lightly, I'm 72 years old, had fibro since 9 I've beem marrie to the same girl for 52 years. We live in Florida, have three grown kids (kids, ?: hmmm) grand children, great grand daughter!!, and three dogs.

Well to be up front, I did try to end it due to all the pain. Woke up in the hosp. feeling even worse. Our life is not our choice to end.
Recommend going to a psych for mood stabilizers.
I'm w/u about not being able to do the things u love, I also miss playing in the dirt, playing w/the kids, animals, and just being able to walk to the corner store.
As for what to do about the pain, that is why I am here too. Maybe we can work together and figure something out.
