Fibromyalgia Support Group
You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.
You will know how to keep going, just not at this very second. It's ok. It will pass. I'm sorry you're in so much pain, it's not fair.
Somehow, somewhere, sometime, it will get better for you. Take the time for your feelings right now, and cry.
Then, go to the bathroom, and splash some cool water on your face, and feel calm.
Tomorrow, start a journal, look into yoga, sit in the sun...
Hugs, and unconditional acceptance, from Scoot.
But I am up and walking again. Not far, and my feet are still in terrible pain, but at least I'm up and you will be too. I know it feels hopeless at times but don't give up as it will consume you.
There will be better times and you must hold on to hope.
Sending lots of hugs your way.
I have no idea how I would deal with having kids and a husband.
Crying is all I can do sometimes and it helps sometimes, sometimes doesn't.
For me what keeps me going is the fact that I know that if I stop, I will probably never get going, again.
I keep trying to find something that works. I made appointments with two docs who are supposed to be experts on fibro.
I guess, hope keeps me going, if I give up hope, I'll stop.
I'm sorry if this does not make much sense, today the fog wants to get me, too, along with the pain and the horrible fatigue that kept me down for most of the day.
I feel robbed by fibro, too. You just totally said how I feel. I'm sad and mad, and horrified because I'm 36 and can barely work. Work and bed rest is all I do these days. Even at work, I can barely function. If i had a regular job, 9-5 in an office or when I used to work as a nurses aide, I would not be able to do it. I's just work and bed. If I can't work, I don't know what I would do.
Anyway, I'm sorry that instead of helping I just started complaining. I just wanted to show you that you are not alone.
Many people here have a wonderful gift of being able to lift the spirits of others and I hope they will respond to this post and give you some words of wisdom. They have gotten me through pretty bad times in the last couple of months.
Take care mary.
Hugs
I just took my last pain pill before typing this message and know I have some rough days ahead of me. I am desperately trying to find at Dr. to treat my symptoms with something that works!!

Praying for you...
I do take prozac, an antidepressant, and that usually helps me with my mood really well. Are you on an antidepressant?
We've all either been where you are, or we're there now. The others have given you some really good advice.
Hang in there, Dear, we're all here for you.
Take care....Elizabeth
Sometimes when my feet are bothering me more then normal I have a small wash basin that i fill with very warm water and add some epsom salt and soak them for about a 1/2 hour ! Not sure if that would help ??
I would ask your doctor if any of the meds your on could be causing additional troubles or making the exsisting ones worse. Prednisone can cause problems like many other meds. If have anykind of swelling make sure the doctor is aware of it Ok.
take care
gentle hugs
Your words are mine exactly. I have hit the wall too....
My heart aches for EACH precious, precious person on this board.
I wish we all lived closer!
It is a lot to handle. I am with you!! WE are all with you!!!
Wish I had a cure, but I can only add my sympathy.
You feel so bad because you are fighting a war.To win a war,you must become a warrior.A warrior must have an arsenal of weapons. You cry because you do not have any weapons, and it leaves you feeling helpless.
While there is no current cure for Fibro, that does not mean that we have to give up and give in.Take time to cry and grieve, but do not stay there. If you do, your pain will become even worse.Get back on your horse and fight. If you can not summon the strength for yourself, fight for your marriage and your children.
I wish you strength and courage.Peace.
Good luck tell us if it helps.
