Pain is overwhelming me :(

You guys *get this* others dont. I am in so much pain between my fibro and my back i have been throwing up :( First thing in the morning calling my neurologist because you guys know the ER is no help...... Im suppose to start my DBT group therapy tomorrow but that doesnt seem like its goign to happen unless a miracle happens :(. Need your support tonight, my other friends dont understand :(

Oh AngelaJo I am so sorry and yes I do understand. I have been down with my back the past three days so nauseous that it is hard to eat. I hope that your neurologist can get you some help. Gentle hugs dear and I will say a prayer for you.

I understand too having had severe back issues some years ago. I am sorry that you are struggling so much this evening. I hope that you can find something to distract you for abit. Sending positive vibes and hoping the neurologist will be helpful tomorrow. Hugs!

Thanks both of you! My sugars are very very high like 263 tonight and thats with taking lots of insulin all day, do not want to know what it would be without insulin! My sugars do not like steroids! I thought it would drop from me being not eating much and being sick but its going up instead grrrr....... Just took my long acting insulin i hope i sleep at least some. If im like this tomorrow im staying home! I want to do the group even though it scares me being in groups but this way i cant.

I'm sorry your back pain is so bad, Angela. My scoliosis pain in my back seem to be getting worse all the time, so I can relate some.

Rant about it all you need. I'm still appalled at how useless your local ER seems to be. Those kinds of places shouldn't be in business. I hope the neuro will be able to help so you can get relief. Take care.

I ended up going to group today because guilt was eating at me if i didnt go. 2 very painful hours then my dad picked me up 45 mins late from there so sat for almost 3 hours total, then we went to pizza hut we met mom there, i ran into walmart just for sugar free chocolate, after my day so far it was required. I am home and in bed resting with my elec blanket and chocolate and coffee!!!!! Thank you all so much for the support. I took my toradol so hoping it helps i have it in pill form.

PS, My blood sugars are normal so far today so yay!

Gentle hugs. I am glad that you did the group. I hope that you rest well and are able to eat something that will bring your sugars down. I eat 3 ounces of meat when my sugars get too high. It helps bring it down fairly quickly. I hope that helps you too.
