A fly-by before I visit a new dentist. First visit in 2 years. An old filling is giving way after 20-odd years or I'd not bother. $$$, y'know?

I made the mistake of telling my parents about my crown stuff when I dropped Miki off, and my dad went off. Like he's got me making a complaint to the NH board of health and going to small claims court...I haven't even gone back for the appointment yet. Let's pump the brakes here, idk if I would do those things even if the appointment doesn't go well, honestly. But I am going to walk out if they tell me I'll have to pay for another crown, and I'm going to be switching practices regardless I think. I did consider that insurance won't cover a second crown on the same tooth so I'm kinda fucked if they won't cover it. I'll have to pay for something.
I'm exhausted even though I didn't run and slept an extra hour or so. I just want to go back to bed. It is sunnyish at least, first time in days I've even seen the sun, but everything is still super wet and muddy. And I still just want to sleep until next year...

Good afternoon! Another gorgeous day here. I worked one job this morning. The client extended their reservation today so that helps the month of October look a bit more robust.

Came home and spent a couple of hours using speed patch on the driveway to fill in the worst cracks. I sat on a rolling mechanics stool and whipped around the driveway on it. Less bending. I got a lot done. Went through 15 pounds of the stuff today. I just ordered another 10 pounds and will pick it up tomorrow. We have rain coming tomorrow night. It won't be needed until the weekend. My parter used up almost all of the crack sealer too. He, of course, is already setting out to be a drama queen because he has to seal the driveway. I'm just going to ignore him.

The three feral cats that were neutered were all female. They'll be back around 7:30 tonight. Doing well per the TNR folks. Hopefully we can round up some more in October.

Miki - You should not have to pay for the crown. That's ridiculous. I'd get a second opinion first and go in with the information that they provide. It really does sound like you may have needed a peg or that the tooth needed other options. If they don't offer a new crown or reimbursement, I would see them in small claims court. I hope that you can grab a nap today or something. I hate stumbling around and feeling tired. Hugs!
