Honestly - the only good thing I can take from this - I enjoy the good days a lot more than I used to. I tend to make the most of days when I feel like doing something.
The list of things its taken from me is at least 2 miles long, but you learn to live with what you've been given. No reason to not make the best of everything you still have.
*hugs* Happy Holidays!
i now slow down a lot and find joy in the smallest things. i also found so many friends as a result of this crap.
it has pushed me to rebuild who i am, the new me. i miss the old me many days, but the new me is stronger in many other ways i wasn't before. also, since having this crap, i have been able to bless other people's lives in ways i wasn't capable of before.
and last but not least, it has brought me to move to HAWAII! gosh, i love this place!!!
happy thanksgiving to y'all! gobble gobble!
smile, you will have better days ahead!
Can't remember any of it !!
LMAO !!
i can find things to be thankful for in my life any day of the week, but FM has done nothing but steal my life.
Probably more, but can't think right now!! LOL Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!
Learned a little dust/clutter doesn't matter; it doesn't seem to matter to anyone else.
Take the time to enjoy a phone call from a granddaughter (who is 4 and doesn't always make sense)....enjoy the web cam since I can't be 800 miles to their house and enjoy when I've conquered another day
Fibro has only taken from me and my husband. It's only made our life harder. Our successes are in spite of it. I guess I could say it has made me a stronger person - but then there's been enough other crap in my life to have done that so....
nope, I've nothing but resentment for fibro and tears and sadness for all those suffering with it.
I'm thankful for the other things in my life and that I refuse to let myself be defined by an illness. As such I strive twice as hard to make the 'other' aspects of my life work and dominate the fibro.
