I have been on prozac since diagnosed 11 years ago with Fibromyalgia. Pain has been tolerable with darvocet and flexeril until 4 weeks ago when I started hurting all over really bad and it didn't stop. So, my doc changed me last week to Savella and neurontin for FMS, and already had me on Seroquel for anxiety/depression. Since starting the new meds last Thursday, I feel like crap...indigestion, nausea, chills, headache, blood sugar dropping and coming down with bronchitis. Has anyone tried either or both of these drugs? Can I hope that the side effects will subside?

Yeah, to be on two very strong, brain chemical altering drugs like Seroquel AND Neurontin at the same time... That just could NOT be good! They both have such extreme side effects. Neurontin has caused some psychosis and suicidal tendencies in people. There are folks who have killed themselves while taking it. It would probably help to contact a couple of pharmacists and get their input. And do some online searching on both.

If you\'re trying to work while taking Neurontin, just be aware that it can definitely cause some cognitive impairment. You won\'t be aware of it at first because it\'s so gradual, but people will notice it.

I am going to call the doc tomorrow. I\'ve felt like my blood pressure was up so I took it yesterday at Walmart. It was 137/91. These was before I took my morning meds....after I took them it felt like it was even higher. I seem to be adjusting to the neurontin very well. My husband was putting in the sewer line to our new house yesterday and I as able to assist him.

I took the Seroquel for two months before I started the others. I was originally on Zyprexa, which was wonderful, until my insurance decided they would put it on the non-preferred list, making it $216. a month, which I can\'t swing on SSDI. Seroquel was the only thing on the list that insurance would cover, so I have to take my chances for now. I have severe anxiety attacks and agoraphobia without it. Thank you all for your advice. It is all under consideration. Emily
