Got the letter today from Social Security. I feel like shooting myself in the F***ing head.

dont give up! once you are denied you need a lawyer. I was denied the first time and then hired Allsup to help me. They did an awesome job, contacted all my doctors, filed all paperwork. Took away alot of the stress. It took time, but i was finally approved after 2 1/2 years. I also wrote to my senator and congressman. Let me know if you have any questions.

Oh man! I hear you. This is probably the single most humiliating thing to experience. For me, this was worst than the realization that my husband was cheating on me - that was on him, but in my SS judgement, the judge made me out to be some kind of low-life, faker.

I couldn't read my last judgement in one sitting. It took me 5, 20 minute sessions over two months. No kidding. He called me a liar, called my doctors liars,called my lawyer a liar. It was awful.

I know you feel like shooting yourself, and that's ok, but please don't..(Had to say it.)

Oh wow. I am so sorry. Was this your 1st attempt? Dont stop appling or pushimg for it. Dig your heels in and dont give up. Push forward. You can beat them.

yup.. I have been denied.. 3 times hun.. its horrible.. I gave up.. Im all done with it.. I even had a whole page letter from my doctor.. stating I couldnt work for any reason.. due to my fibro and disk disease.. but.. that was probably thrown in the trash..

so... they can keep their money.... sad... best wishes for you.. :)

get a lawyer, they don't charge up front fees, they only collect when they win your case, i am so sorry that you, or anyone, is having to go through this, it is a difficult situation

Getting a lawyer is what you need they do all of the tough stuff for you and they help to keep you encouraged. Every single time they turned me down so my lawyer took my case to the Federal Court Judge, and WE WON!

These lawyers do not get paid until you do and then they can only take a 1/4 of the money. Also when they win your case you will be paid for all of the time that it took, retroactive pay. They paid me for the eight years that it took to win my care; in the end that was a real big blessing.

Please do not give up. You are not alone here, you will get through this but you must not give up.
