He was asked if terrorism would come to the U.S.

When asked where, he stated:

My question to you is:
Do you think America has built up a tolerance for terrorism? Still? Do you feel safe that our government has now taken the necessary acts to protect the U.S.?

Look at this damn Election process and how much money has been spent to narrow it down to two individuals that are just facing a load that no one can change it.
Death while we have our problems here in the US, other countries have their problems as welll. We are just not as aware of them, unless you follow foriegn journalism more.
We also have the best colleges and universities and that is why so many students from other countries come here. I agree with you that we have opened the door and invited many into tea.
threat I happen to believe our biggest threat is right in our own backyards so to speak.
We have increased the membership in Al Quida and Hamas since our "war on terrorism"
As for people knowing about the strikes on US soil by Al Quida, and doing nothing about it....it was lack of communication between our government agencies....it was one dog peeing to claim the knowledge and not sharing it with the other dogs in the pack.
We are so cluster f--ked right now that it is going to take generations to undo what Bush has done to us.
You can't honestly believe that the Pakistanian, Iraqi, Iranian and other's that live here are not furious with what our government has done to their families and their homeland.

I think that the US has only been hit from without 3 times in our history (French during the Civil War, Japanese during WWII, and September 11th). We have come to believe that first we are too far away for an attack (this used to be true but the war machine has been growing more powerful and we were ignoring that fact)
Second, I believe that the rest of the world hates us, but needs us, so they play nice. Bin Laden did not need us.
That being said, I do not believe that there is going to be any country that is going to build an army to attack us. But there are terrorists that will not hesitate to attack us on foreign shores and attack us from within.
What can we do about it=NOTHING. Unless we change our foreign policy from "spreading Democracy" (forcing our way of life on others) where it is not wanted or needed.
Lets see we will go to the ends of the earth to impeach a president for having someone besides his wife perform oral sex on him but we keep in office a known liar that has done nothing in the last 3 years but get innocent men and women killed
