Last year before I knew what was wrong with me I had a really great trip visiting with my husband's family in Illinois. Very little to no painduringthe whole trip, slept well, and had enough energy to do what we did each day while visiting. When I'm less stressed my pain is less.
I've been having a lot of difficulty with the side effects of the CBD oil. It has the same effects of the comedown from marijuana, intense hunger pangs. I tried to ignore them once and ended up experiencing terrible stabbing feelings in my gut. It's just as bad as the fibromyalgia.
I'm on vacation this week and had been getting by today without the CBD oil. I had a nice day with my younger son doing some hiking and lunch. Came home to enjoye the new warm weather in the back yard with my hubby and then made some dinner. Only mild, tolerable pain, good amount of energy. While watching a movie I suddenly had stabbing pains in my back come out of no where.
I can't even make it through one day without help anymore.

Another day, another ouchie? My bruised achilles tendon (don't ask) makes my foot numb. Wonky on meds, whacked it.Now, as to fibro:A lot of reports are going around some parts of social media that fibro (and dang near anything else) are caused by post-Covid, post-flu, post-vaccinations, post-pick-something.1. Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.

And, not everything can be attributed to Fibromyalgia. It is pretty common for people with Fibromyalgia to have underlying issues such as Degenerative Disc Disease and other low back issues. I have it and severe arthritis in my lower back.
I’m sorry that you are having difficulty with CBD oil. I find it can be pretty helpful.
I hope that you feel better. Take care.
Before dx with Fibro I had already been dx'd with epilepsy, and early onset arthritis in one knee, a foot and a shoulder. (Just assume my early life was not a happy picnic.) So... Yeah... Keep an eye on that back pain, okay?
Healing hopes to you.
Last night the pain wasn't in my spine, but off to one side. The pain lessened a bit when I put direct pressure on the point that was hurting which tells me it was just an overactive nerve ending rather than musculoskeletal or soft tissue pain. Direct pressure doesn't help give me relief for tissue pain or pain in my spine.

If it's not the CBD oil then it's just fibromyalgia pain in my gut.
I use American Shaman.
Do you have the book “Fibromyalgia for Dummies?” You can purchase it on Amazon. You seem to be having difficulty separating what is Fibro and what isn’t. The book might help. Take care.
"You seem to be having difficulty separating what is fibro and what isn't."
You wrote this in relation to what? The back pain or gut pain? Please clarify.
According to this, CBD oil has shown in studies to cause changes in appetite and diarrhea. It may not be due to THC but the oil does cause digestive difficulties in some. I didn't have these symptoms prior to beginning use of CBD oil in February.
