The Commisioner DENIED the Peace Order request I made. She said she denied it because there is no proof that he posted it. Someone could have logged into his Facebook page and posted it everywhere. Even though I had over 25pages printed of what he posted and he said. "Look what this....did to MY daughter". Commisioner said I can take it in front of a judge and try to get one but no guarantee I will get it.

So yet again I have to take a day off work to head to a Fucking courtroom.

I want this BASTARD to pay for Harrassing me and my family. It clearly states that it is against the law to post the registry information.

Here is what it says at the bottom of the page for MD Registry:


Warning - Do not use this information to unlawfully injure, harass, or commit a crime against any individual named in the registry or residing or working at any reported address. Such action could result in civil or criminal penalties

So I will be bringing that up to the judge.

Did you go to the state police and file a report? Take the same proof to them as you did to the judge. It may not look or feel like anything is being done, but you have to be persistent. It may take some time, but keep documents and records of everything you can, because if he DOES try something that can be proved, you will have background information. Talk to a lawyer, maybe he/she could help you get some sort of protection.

WorriedSickMD, I'm just amazed they would even say that.......so when they entrap people on the internet, it could have been someone else on their account right? Right?! That makes absolutely no to me! I suppose this really shows their bias toward sex offenders...

maybe we should all get the commisioner's contatc info and bombard the office with outraged letters and e-mails from us (outraged family's of SOs)...make it a big nuisance to her...maybe she'll change her mind. I'll write..if I know who to write to

Please pray that I get the JUDGE to accept my motion for a Peace Order. I will be going in on Wednesday to do so. I will be damned if I give up. What he did and or is doing is against the LAW. Clearly states so at the bottom of the registry page.

The FEAR in these cases NEEDS TO STOP and it will only STOP when those in POWER understand MAMMALIAN neurological wiring that is at the root of FEAR. This is what impacts all of us so UNFAIRLY, perpetrators, victims, and communities a like!

We have psychological teams that deal with teen suicide in communities since it has been proven that the rate of suicide increases in schools of the deceased. We NEED teams of specialists in the field of psychology who can go in and help these families and communities so that this VIGILANTE behavior can STOP!

We all deserve protection from HARM, PERIOD.

one thing i would point out is the irony. If the same individual had posted CP from his facebook account, I bet they wouldn't use the excuse that someone else may have hijacked his account.

faeryedark, you are so right! My son was convicted of receipt of cp on his laptop computer, a computer that others in his barracks used. They didn't care, it was his computer so he was held responsible. Even though he proved he wasn't the only one that used it.

That is EXACTLY My point Faeryedark! My husband because he was honest and admitted his wrong doing or a conversation on Facebook is now a sex offender, But this son of a bitch can harrass my family and get nothing because we can't prove he did it even though all of the postings are HIS PROFILE! I hate this. Now I get to go to the courthouse and try to get a judge to grant the Peace order!

The worst of all of this is since my husband was convicted of CP (mind you no direct contact with a child), all I have be told was they are trying to protect the children, what about my children, they did nothing. What about all our children. Does not anyone think about this? These kids have lost there fathers, and no one is worried about that.

I completely agree with you christad5. All of us need to be considered here ... and the children of those who have received harsh judgments that continue with the use of registries are some of the "innocents" that are harmed the MOST. This HAS TO CHANGE!

Guess WHAT???? I got a temporary peace order. He will be served tomorrow. YES on Thanksgiving! And then next Tuesday I go back to court and hope to get the more permanent peace order for a YEAR.

The judge said that it is no right what he is doing to us and it is HARASSMENT! If he does not show up on Tuesday morning it will be automatically granted to me. If he does I have to prove my case. I have over 100pages printed of the postings he has done and is still continuing to do.

I am thrilled no matter what happens that he will at least be served by a Sheriff tomorrow in the middle of his Thanksgiving Day. He certainly has ruined the last few days for me. So this to me will be some justice for me.
