When someone travels to Florida and stays a certain number of days, they have to register the address at which they are staying. Once that person leaves, he or she is permanently on Florida's sex offender registry for the rest of their life, whether or not they step foot in the state of Florida again.
My question is, is this true for all states? If someone on the registry stays in Ohio, for example, for 4 days and register because they have to, are they then taken off the public registry once they leave the state? I realize each state might be different in this regard but any information would be appreciated.

At the top of the form there is a toolbar. On that tool bar is circle with a plus sign inside. Click on the circle with the plus sign---+----inside.
