Amazon has "reader comments" so readers (us) can let others know what we think about the book...How about some of us going on Amazon an expressing our concerns about harassment and collateral damage done to innocent family members by such spiteful harassment through recklessness and prejudice?

I don't want to make this e-book the most popular on Amazon (and make money for the harassers) however the issue of a book being expressly written to denigrate and demean(written as the 'outcome' of proven instances of past bullying harassment?) Seems like there is a chance to prove the book was written with malicious intent to do harm to innocent family members.

People who write their own memoirs are sometimes sued by family members. Maybe there is a basis to take legal action on much the same grounds? I don't know but maybe contact the Southern Poverty Law Center attorneys re-hate speech/ defamation of YOUR character simply because you are unwilling to join in the witch hunt? The "writers" (and Amazon) probably count on your being afraid to step forward for fear of being targeted further? But Amazon might not like the prospect of being contacted by a lawyer on grounds that Hate Speech is not Free Speech.
Just my thoughts.

I thought about adding a bad review, but had the same thought as janet here. Don't want to bring attention to the book that we want no one to profit from.

So I put in complaints about the book direct to Amazon. That it was using an unauthorized image, that it was harassment and some other things. That would draw attention to it without bringing them customers. Now if 100 people did that it might cause them to pull it... Maybe..

Well, I "reviewed" the book on Amazon. I said the book has (as they used to say) No Redeeming Qualities except (perhaps) the "novelists" talent to for playing to the angry undercurrents of the Duck Dynasty crowd or the now-defunct Hansen show. I don't know if Amazon will accept my review since I essentially said that as a reader expect more of even self-published "e-novelists" than prurience and ability to kick people when they are down in order to garner praise from the lynch mob. To quote one of the few other negative reviewers "don't bother this is drivel."
But then, not to "dip into the current political drivel" this sort of thing seems to raise ratings on the Donald Duck show also. They all seem to specialize in creating collateral damage where ever they go, no matter which defenseless person they chose to kick.
None of them "get it" when/if they watch "To Make a Murderer" Free speech cannot be Hate speech nor can it incite the Hansen crowed to do violence whether with a pen (and call it writing a novel) or with Google and burning crosses a rope or a gun. THEY pose the real danger to America's "Greatness"

That's cause critical thinking hasn't been a part of the culture or curriculum here for at least several decades.

The book is a well-written CONSPIRACY to teach every one on Daily Strength, Every Sex Offender Family how to BEHAVE if we want to be even marginally safe. It is Meant to teach us FEAR of drawing attention, of being Singled out even more...don't you see? It's in our best interest to cower. Never comment, never blog, never JOIN others.

Isolation and fear and going quietly is a small price to pay BUT if we don't like that THERE ARE OTHER PUNISHMENT APLENTY. Just Remember. The "Harassment" suffered by one of us is done for our own good. It teaches one and all a valuable object lessen. Accept blame unconditionally. Hate yourself. Go quietly. Do Not Blog Comment or review negatively. NOT EVER. If you come to Daily strength just read the comments.

Any story of collateral damage is just a kind object Object Lesson NEVER join hands, never advocate NEVER dare defend / go against the self-righteous or bullies, the valigators of this world whipping up hate speech, taking over "Federal Property" in Burns Or or even reaching out to kindly teach us all how stay safe in their "free Speech" according to Fascist Constitutional Rights World.

Thought, I was trying to find an online support forum/group and eventually found dailystrength. I went and followed others for a week or two to see how real they were, all seemed superficial. I wasn't expecting there to be a group like this, but was quite happy when I did find it. I have had a hard time seeking any advice or support with anyone else in my life, they don't understand my uncle's situation. It seemed people here were supportive or others. Why?

You were able to find this group through a Google search, just as the majority if not all of us. This is the same for trolls. They find our site sbd read what we post. Remember, everything we post is public.

Is there a troll problem here? It seems pretty good. Or do they just get reported and deleted quickly?

You tell me Deal? One of the links you provided has a conversation directly about you (or your member name here) - The guy who started the thread says he likes to read sex offender forums because he finds it interesting ...???

The admins are pretty good if someone is "spotted" as a troll they boot them - but they can still read the posts without being a member

Yeah the thought to make it private and build something else that has more security has been tossed around but, then it would take away from new people, like yourself, finding support.

So we recommend anonymous screen names, leaving out personal information, such as names and numbers and detailed case information. It is to protect you and yours from the valigators and other idiots out there.

There are a number of admins that police the site and watch for trolls and folks looking to stir up trouble.

Anyone can read our postings. There have been trolls that come here and post, when they identified, they are deleted and banned.
