Can anyone give me some feedback?
My son lives by himself. No one has given him any overt trouble but he says that very few people speak to him. He tries to be courteous and polite to one and all but doesn't get much reciprocation. I sometimes wonder how much of this is my son projecting onto what he thinks people are thinking about him and how much is real. We have very little doubt that some people where my son lives know he is on the registry because it's a public registry. I guess we're just wondering how to best help him deal with it.

The important quote from the story is this:

The more I hear about how SO's are treated, the sadder I get. It's hard enough as it is to live with this designation... but now certain places are saying that a SO can't even own an animal? Where does it stop???
All this is just so silly. Unfortunately I don't see things getting better any time soon....
