Nicole, you did nothing wrong. He's just being a miserable SOB right now, feeling sorry for himself and wanting to blame anyone else he can think of for his situation. Hold your head up and absorb all the good thoughts and blessings headed your way.

And take a break from him for awhile. He knows how to get your goat, so you need to be unreachable for the time being. Okay. Don't let him take away your peace.

Your husband doesn't respect or grateful for what you do? Sorry to hear that. If my husband treated me like that, I would be gone. Mine doesn't ask for anything, so when I do send him a package or put a few dollars on canteen he's appreciative, but tells me that I don't need to since I have bills I have to pay. I never send anything outside my means. He's just happy to get visits and an ocassional phone call.

Hopefully your husband will wake up and realize what he has...but at some point, be sure you stand up for yourself

Here's a MANS point of view......TELL HIM TO 'PISS UP A ROPE'.....You hold the cards right now..2 months, don't write and don't put a dime on his commisary and see if he doesn't change his tune.

This is just anger and frustration for the situation....and who knows what he's really dealing with that he's not telling you....however you cannot let him take it out on you. You can either tell him clearly how you feel and perhaps let him know that if he continues this behavior there will be NONE coming in the future or you can let him "stew in his own juices" and have no contact for a bit. He needs to remember that even if you're not able to be there financially the way he wants that you ARE being there emotionally....unless he's acting like this.

Regardless, YOU can only give what you have......and if he pushes away the emotional, then he won't have that either! Stand strong and know that we all have your back and we all know you're doing your very best!

(((HUGS))) It is hard to tell what is going on in his mind, and he probably won't tell you what is really happening. However, he has ZERO grounds to disrespect you. I think the best thing is to write him a short letter saying that he needs to stop disrespecting you. Do not defend yourself, it just gives him openings to write back. Just a few sentences saying that "You are being disrespectful of me, plain and simple. Until you get off the pity pot, I will not be writing to you." Then stick to your guns, keep coming here often for support, and take it one day at a time. That's it.

You cannot allow him to call you names and treat you like this, and here is one reason why.

At some point, you will begin to feel bad about yourself for allowing him to run all over you. Your self-esteem will suffer.

Do not allow him to take your dignity. Nobody can take your dignity unless you allow them to. Don't let him rob you of that.

Once he begins to take your dignity, your self-respect and self-esteem will suffer. If that happens, your worth as a person to yourself will suffer.

Never allow anyone to treat you this way without calling them on it.
