I will warn you she does not debate in the traditional way - she comes across as uneducated and full of hate. In other words no matter what you say she will counteract with a personal disparaging non-related comment that never gets anywhere. Debating with her is like trying to teach a cat to swim

On debate.org other people vote on who won the debate. Ad hominem attacks will lose you points. She let some of my comments through once on her blog once, but she has stopped every thing else. She's smart about who she lets talk on her blog, either you support her view or you are angry and hate her. She does not allow for any in between. It's smart but if she really believed in the stuff she is spewing she would allow for all to see it, on a public forum where she cannot hide and delete others' responses that she does not have a good answer for.

Val doesn't allow posts on her blog that doesn't align with her distorted thinking. She doesn't want to be proven wrong. I highly doubt that she would accept your Challenge to debate her.

The last time she actually let my posts through we had some good discourse. But after that she has blocked everything else I have tried to post.

I don't have any personal issues with her other than I vehemently disagree with her opinions. The last time it was civil and I do not see why this cannot remain the same.

The only reason it was civil then is becasue she did not know who you were. She would never have a civil conversation if she knew she was talking to an RSO - in my opinion any RSO should have personal issues with anyone that has stalked and pulled guns on other RSOs and publicly made comments about killing them etc.

Trust me she WILL not learn anything at all from any conversation with an advocate for RSO rights.

The difference is I am not arguing for rights for sex offenders. I am arguing for the safety of children. I think it logically follows from my arguments that a lot of rights should be given back to RSOs. The government says that the registry is a regulatory scheme designed to protect the public and protect children. In order to take the rights away of RSOs they have the burden to prove that taking away these rights is a compelling state interest.

The data simply doesn't back that up, and what's even worse some studies show it actually makes children less safe.

The Valigator doesn't appear to care so much about what is good and true and right, she only seems to care about punishment and revenge and damnation.
