The question about allowing you to move there is how they run their immigration. First do they allow Felons? or do they match up the conviction to what it would mean under their law and decide that way? Questions I have no answers too. But I'll bet the Embassy for Spain would, and I'll bet they have an email address. I would write them, never hurts to ask. Although if you are still on supervision, you won't be able to leave the country, at least not yet. First thing you should do though is get a passport, you can get one, even if you are an RSO. You're going to need it if you are going to move.... ;)
Never-mind her Anarchy...
You know how pathetic you are?
The people on here (Mostly women) are trying to wrap their heads around what their loved one has done and bitches like you come here to start shit without looking into the stories why they are here...Many are supporting their Sons who were imprisoned over "Romeo and Juliet relationships...
Do you even know what a "sex offender" is these days?
The drunk who pees behind a building...(Look it up, many States it is a SO registration offense).
2 14 year olds having sex... In many States it is a crime, both can be charged with sexual abuse of a child...
Last year in Idaho. A store clerk saw a child "plying" with himself in a store and a clerk called the police..The Parents are now required to to inform all his schools he might attend that he is a POTENTIAL SEXUAL PREDATOR and may have to register for LIFE when he turns 11...HE WAS 2YEARS OLD WHEN THIS OCCURED!!!
Just a couple of years ago in my State, a 12 year old boy got his 13 year old girlfriend pregnant...It was consensual, BUT GUESS WHAT???? THE GIRL GOT A SLAP ON THE WRIST, THE 12 YEAR OLD BOY HAS TO REGISTER AS A SEX OFFENDER FOR 25 YEARS AFTER HE TURNS 18!!!!!!!!!
Let me tell you this lady(I use the term loosely)...I am TOTALLY against Child abuse of ANY kind(Including someone like you who drills victimhood into an abused child) and i will DESTROY anyone I catch abusing child.(I am a combat Veteran).
I am asking the Mods not to ban you...Not for you....I want every body to see what fools you all are.(Especially you, "Keyboard Commando" Warriormama).
Simply put. if you don't want me coming into your world and trashing you(But never the child) stay the fuck away from here.........A word of advise...I AM VERY GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As for the tax thing: The IRS only uses extradition when it is ($) worth their while. As a US citizen, you are still expected to pay taxes back here, even if you live in another country, for as long as you retain your US citizenship. So says my mother, who worked for H & R Block (agents of the IRS). That's why the stink over slick ole Romney, who has companies in other countries that he pays NO tax on here. The master of loopholes.
"This group is here to help those with loved ones who are convicted of sex offenses. This is a place where we don't judge because we are all in the same boat, regardless of the actual crime. If you don't feel completely comfortable posting freely on the main board because of the nature of your loved one's crime, feel free to post here because we all understand!"
Since following various posts I have discovered that there are some people who really are just here to be supportive and to seek understanding. However, there are others who mock people's belief systems and ridicule their right to follow their values if they can be any way mixed with religion, and still others who are on a superiority plain, judging harshly those who have done worse.
The truth is, my loved one did something absolutely awful, developed a terrible addiction. I have witnessed tremendous devastation in my family as a result. Yet the horrible things he did due to the addiction are not the sum total of who he is. Those who have not dealt with addictions cannot appreciate the challenges faced by those who have. There was a time when those battling drug addiction were looked at like the worst sort of scum. Now there is a great deal of compassion for many dealing with substance abuse. Our society sends out minute doses of "drugs" of a sexual nature on a constant basis. The easy availability of inappropriate, and often pornographic, materials is astounding. How can we be surprised when individuals develop an addiction to these "drugs" and end up ruled by something that would kill them? There is no excuse for harming another individual, and I would bet that most sex offenders believe that and hate themselves for their own weakness. Is there no room for compassion, despite the horror we may feel at what a loved one may have done? Would Jesus Christ turn his back on the offender, or did He pay for the offender's crime?
Sadandmad--The grieving process when an offense of this nature touches your life is intense. If you are the mother of a victim I know your suffering is real. The far-reaching effects of a sex offense are terrible and overwhelming. You are beginning to understand that from your perspective. Remember, though, that you have no way to understand the difficulties and past suffering of the offender. Only the Lord can judge perfectly. You need to heal, and this site can be a help, but it really should be a place of healing by supporting one another, not hurting.
Ladybird--you truly are a kindred spirit. God bless us all as we strive to heal, forgive, and grow in wisdom.
Merry Christmas everyone!
i'm sorry for what you have gone through. you sound like a victim by your bitterness. i hope you find peace someday, as to me maybe i'll just stay in united states to remind people like you how light my sentence was. good luck to you and god bless.

I'm an ER nurse. I met my husband (who was a firefighter at the time) at work. We married 2 1/2 yrs ago. He is my third husband. Thought I got it right this time. I have 2 grown sons and a daughter who is 15. I'm very proud of them all. I am very blessed. I never in a million years thought I'd be in the situation I'm in now. SO were always "nobody I know". I just can't wrap my brain around it. I don't know where my marriage is going, but I know my family wants nothing to do with him now. They all loved him before this all came to light. Now what?
so who's the SO your husband or one of your sons? your hurting i understand, and it's very confusing. you feel isolated and no one wants to help you. you think everyone is blaming you for this, which is not your fault, and your mad. ignore what i posted above as i thought you were from the other side of things. if you ever have questions or want to rant feel free to pm me. good luck, and to tell you the truth. it's going to get better for everyone. :)
Sadandmad, I am sorry for what has happened in your family. All of us here have been through something, some stories are a like and many aren't. No matter how the betrayal has come into your life, the pain and process seems to be the same. There are mothers on here where there husbands assaulted their children, there are teenage sweethearts that are now branded for life, there are teenagers that didn't know what they were downloading but now face 25 years in prison and lifetime on the registry when they never learned a thing about life at all. We do not condone any crime, but we are human, we have the ability to heal and learn, we have the aptitude to reason and question and we have the grace to forgive. But all of this takes time, it takes self-education and it takes a willingness to hear things that are not comfortable and forgive yourself for whatever you may be blaming yourself for. That is really the crux of it.
I know you are upset and angry, you should be. But anger only fuels rage and that is just bad for the blood pressure. Newton I believe says that there is an equal and opposite reaction to every action. That is where your seeking knowledge, regardless of how upset it makes you sometimes. Small steps, I used to believe that everyone with the label was some horrible monster, now I realize that there is far more than what I originally thought. What it takes to be put on that list is nothing more than an accusation to the right official and it is like a steamroller over you life.
Here you will find support for your anger against those that have wronged you or your loved one, but you will also find support for when you are confused if those that did this was also someone you loved. Emotions do not go away in an instant, they may be masked by anger and rage, but there is always something that eventually surfaces later. That is when most seek our group out.
This kind of betrayal is like a death of one life and the birth of the next, neither are ever easy and both have a process that each person goes through even if it isn't in the same order.
We have had a rash of trolls here looking to stir the pot here, ignore them, they will go away like most bad dreams do. Also don't let them make you afraid to discuss here, if you have any questions, you are welcome to PM anytime.
At the time, you made a comment about not getting into politics on this site. Apparently, I offended you... Perhaps you need to pay attention to your own advice. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
If my ex wife forgave me for destryoing our lives I wouldnt suffer from my major depression anymore.
i used to suffer from depression. it's not something easy to over come. i've been isolated since i was 8. i've had no real friends in my life. i've never really had a g/f that really has cared deeply for me in my entire life.
but
depression is something you can beat and i think you will beat some day. here's a little secret to life.
secret to life is not an answer it's a question. the question is: Who am I? once you can answer that and accept it fully you will never be truly happy. for example, i'm a sex offender, and i will Never be accept into society. All through history it has proven that we SOs are never ever going to be accepted. I am also an excellent poker player and strategist. I have 2 cats that adore me, meh i'm an old cat guy now :O. that is what i accept in life. am i truly happy? no, but am i better than before? yes. It's hard to accept things you don't want to accept, but sooner or later you will have accept your fate. It will change for better or for worse, but like the art of war you have to flow like water. You have to change with it, or really you'll go insane. you have to be strong. like my own daughter i know that when she's 18 (in 4 more years....jeesh where'd the time go) she will be looking me up. she will be getting in touch with me, and that's why i keep a copy of my probation rules in an envelope. So i can PROVE i didn't leave her i was REMOVED from her life. just like you will do. yes, there will be time loss but there will be many more happy times to come. i'm sorry if i'm making you mad, but depression like i've said can be over come with a strong will. some people think it's an imbalance of chemistry in the head, but i don't believe that. if it's something that you have never had to deal with until now, then i think it's not a chemical imbalance. shake the funk, and brush your shoulders off. you have to come to terms that your ex wife will never forgive you, but remember your children will. even if you believe your children are hearing crap from your ex wife; they will think differently when older. they will want answer from you, and you'll have to be prepared to answer those tough questions. remember after you do so i'm sure they will forgive you for what you've done so very so long ago. it's not like your a SBN (special bulletin notification), or your victim was under 10. <---not trying to minimize your crime or mine, but it does count for things. ok i think i've ranted enough. sorry this is so long. btw i can prove i've dealt with depression from the age of 8. :)
