(((HUGS))) Just realize, as you're sitting in that courtroom today, that all of us are sitting right there with you, reaching out our hands to touch your shoulders, and supporting you. You will get through this. Just take it one breath at a time and don't forget to breathe.

That was one of the toughest days for me. My daughter flew down from Chicago to go with my son and I. I felt so guilty driving him there.. Thoughts are with you.

when i went to my daughters sentencing i took plenty of tissues with me.....

I will pray for you - but it will be over at last and you will be able to move on. After a year I never thought I would say that but it's true. What does his lawyer say? My son's public defender told him what to plead and what he would get. I will give you a big hug (SQUEEZE), hold your and and pray with you. After today it will be going forward, no more waiting. And doing what needs to be done. Hang in there honey!

My son came home today the judge gave him time served 10 months 21 day 1 year parole, 7 years probation. He lifetime registration. Not SVP The Judge made the probation dept stay because it was after hours so he could come today.. I still can't believe he's home thank you all so much .

Well, today was YOUR day, the day when something almost miraculous happens. I know we talked several times and you were very worried.

No prison time, only 7 years probation, and no SVP. I believe he can do that with no problem.

You don't know how happy I am for you, your son, and your family. This made my day.

I hope you all have a great life and can pick up the pieces and go on. Worriedmompa, you were a fantastic mother and a wonderful person to have the courage to get through this with your son. I hope you know I really mean that.
