Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
I am learning to deal with the pain through pain meds, diet, and exercise. I tried to ignore it as much as possible.
Best wishes to you. If you want to learn more about the diet let me know.
Thank you for your feed back.... I guess I just dont understand why they push people with endo to have surgery... if there not trying to conceive. If it doesn't help the pain then why go through it?
HUGS TO YOU ALL~
I hope to have pain relief for awhile , but we shall see.
Hugs to all you ladies !
A few people have asked that, why do it so much if it never helps, because you always hope it does. It's the same with medication, why go through 10 different BC pills if 1 didn't work? Why try Lupron or Depo Provera if one didn't work? Why try, anything that needs inserting if 1 didn't work? You always try and hope.
Also my doctor is worried about me and my endo growth rate and evidently my future (which is nice of him).
Chloem - there is only so much they can do, and once they've tried EVERYTHING, then yes, it's like any chronic illness you have to find a comfterble way to live. Im at that point, I am trying hard to be able to hold out and try PT and maybe some more natural approaches in the new year after surgery atleast untill we can have kids. I know eventually he will tell me my last option is a hysterectomy (medically). It's hard, but we've got each other, for advice and support. I think MommyM8 put it well once, it's not giving up, it's acceptance!
*hugs to all*
