Experience after 1st Lap?

Hello everyone,

I had my first Lap 3 months ago.. I don't feel any better... I sometimes fell worst then I did before the lap. I have also really bad stabbing pains on my vaginal bone :( I just am a little upset because you go into surgery expecting results. I just want to know from all of you what your experience has been like for your first lap? And how many have you had now and has it helped? Overall I have to keep having the surgery to get pregnant but as far as the surgery helping the pain... not so much :(

Chloem - The depo had me break through bleeding for 2 years of the 3 I was on it..I had one amazing year. I gained some weight nothing too badly though. My break through bleeding wasn't always daily, but I always though "this amount of pain and bleeding is better then anything I've ever had before" so I took it. By year 3 I got my shots in smaller gaps, but my bleeding intensified and so did my pain, we did a bone density scan that showed osteoporosis in my hips and I was taken off it straight away. Oddly enough of all the hormones I've ever tried out, Depo worked the best even consdiering it's pretty constant side effects, it's nothing to what I experience off depo.

Most of the cancerous talk/info I have seen has purely been through my own research. It's so rare it's rarely even spoken or written about. I don't know how you'd know the difference and I have never been told, I think is beause my doctors don't worry, it is that rare. I'm sure if it were cancerous you would show the symptoms and the doctors would know. However, I'm not sure. If I absolutely HAD to choose 1 hormone, say life or death, I'd go back on Depo, but I physically can't anymore. I think everything is worth a shot...hell, if they let me try Lupron and I was desperate as much as I don't like it, I'd give it a go.
