I think most people's food choices change throughout life but someone suffering from an ed may find that that plays a part too.
change in cravings of food can definitely be from nutrient deficiencies and changes in intake of vitamins and minerals. this was said on a weight loss program. a calcium deficiency causes cravings for sugar
some of my FAVORITE foods I no longer can even look at. Personally I dont blame ED for this, I blame knowledge. I now eat VERY healthy...
I have said over and over again how crazy I find this. As an obese person I loved, fries, chips, and white bread... I cant even LOOK at white bread now... fries gross me out completely...
I at a bag of chips everyday, now I cant eat them at all....
I find this a wonderful change for me !!!!
Blegh... like right now, I want to eat crunchy cheetos. I haven't had them in years.
Wtf? lol
Pre-vegetarian life, I used to crave fish badly -- and I always thought, hmmm...what, am I mercury-deficient or something? ;-)
like alot of times i know that i have to take a step back and think "ok do i not like this food because ED says its "bad" or do i truly not enjoy this food?" then i try to think back to pre ed......which is getting more and more vague.......and harder to remember
Someone told me that your body knows what it needs so sends signals to ur brain that gives you the cravings. im not sure how true it is tho???
if this is true then someone please explain to me the pickles and ice cream that pregnant woman crave! lol
