CeeCee - been there, done that. Things do get better and I think it's fantastic that you are being positive about the victory of 20 hours!! Way to go! If you can do 20 hours, you can do a full day:)))

It is going to be a challenge for ALL of us over the next few days....
I am going to delay breakfast tomorrow for as long as I humanly can. Dinner is going to be early, so I should be OK....
It's AFTER the dinner and when the clean-up begins that Temptation will rear its ugly lil head....
"Oh - there are only two lemon curd squares left... I should eat them all up because there is no room in the fridge and what a shame it would be to throw them in the garbage after I worked so hard to bake them..."
You know the scene....
GOOD LUCK, EVERYONE!!!
xo
The tactic was to allow myself to eat whatever I pleased - but in full view of other people, no Secret Scarfing!!!!
Today I will be back to my usual and customary ways of eating.
Hope everyone has a beautiful Christmas.
I got really agitated about my hunger and finally just decided to EAT, for goodness sake!
But the kitchen was still filled with foods that I wouldn't usually include in my diet and I felt mad at myself for not having disposed of it all.
So then I ended up having even more food at my friend's house... But I am very clear that over-eating is not binging, so I am still on track.
But that was a close call.
I was just always skirting with disaster over the past few days, but somehow I managed to keep myself from harm....
WHEW!
17 days!
Thanks to everyone!
I am eating more, but I still wouldn't qualify it as a binge.
Today is a brand new day!
Mariposa, you are doing FANTASTIC!!! I hear you about stress but please take time to stop and reflect on how far you've come and how much work you've put into the past almost 3 weeks. Remember (and I think it was you who said it in this thread?) that it takes 21 days to form a new habit. You're almost there!!! You can do it!!
As for me, the holidays were a disaster as far as my b/p behaviour so this is day 1 for me:))))
EVERY DAY is Day One for meeeeeeeee!!!!
Lolololololol!
I am alone this New Year's Eve due to several really close friends letting me down and I know it is silly, but it doesn't help me to judge myself. It hurts and I need to respect that.
I am going to have to be extra-vigilant over the next few days....
How did you make out last night?
My plans got squashed as well for NYE but that was due to my babysitter bailing out on me. I wasn't overly sad to have to stay home to be honest with you - I'm partied out...lol
Day 3 for me today:)))
