I kind of think that with any eccentric behavior, we are trying to swim AWAY....
:(
That was deep, Mariposa.........
And so very, very true.
*Food* for thought.
I am DETERMINED to make this the start of a week for me, as well.
DAY 1 for me:)))
I made it through day 1 finally:))
On to day 2!
i binge, but i am not going to post days where i haven't,because that doesn't necessarily mean i have had balanced meals and snacks....
if we are going to have a thread like this, shouldn't it be one where we support one another for having symptom free days, whether that means being binge free,b/p free,or not restricting?
we are all in different places in our struggles with EDs....while accountablitly can be helpful,i think this is a better place to be supporting one another in delving and dealing with the deeper issues...
and any talk of dieting here is both inappropriate and dangerous....
do hope i have made sense,and haven't offended anyone,just how i feel...
but i just feel that because this board is not moderated,we should take care to make it a safe place for everyone...
Where was ANYONE talking about dieting strategies, etc???
We are talking about being accountable to one another for symptom free days.
Funny, you guys are the same ones that talk about what size you are. Do you not think talking about size and actual weight numbers on an ED board is triggering for many people????
I think many find this thread helpful. If you don't want to be a part of it, that's fine but others do.
I am doing something positive and healing - is that a "problem?"
I do not feel that my joy at being successful is inappropriate.
DAY 7.
ONE WEEK.
BINGE FREE.
just simply my thoughts, and you're right,if i don't find something helpful,i ought to stay away from it.....
incidentally,i myself have never ever posted my weight size or given tips here in my own posts and always taken care to post a trigger warning when i felt it necessary....
again,i'm sorry that i have offended you,and i hope the thread continues to help you.
HUGS
