Divorce after Twenty years together Community Group
I want to start something for those of us that were married for a long long time. I think that we face a little different issues than those who were dating for a few years or even married for shorter period of time. Being married for so long we have older children some have grandkids dealing with teenagers and their reaction to the divorice empty nesters dating after 40...

I've been married twice. First at 18, way too young. Divorced and married again at 34 for almost 20 years. I am now 54. Am I the only one who's lived their entire life without having great sex? Is it still possible at this age to maybe having it? I loved my husband but after the first rush, the spark was just not there. It was ok but just ok and sometimes I even thought about grocery lists, lol!
I'm not at the point where I'm ready to actually BE with someone else but I wonder if I haven't had great sex yet, what are my chances? Actually, when I was divorced, I did have it but the relationship wasn't good. Am I too old to even be thinking about this stuff?

I LOVE Alice Cooper. And, yes, I thought it was way out of line. The guy is a joker though and I'm sure he didn't mean anything but at least I know he's not my type. YUK!!!

I feel the same way, I want all or nothing. At my age, 60 I rather go without than being used by men that all they think of is themselves. My ex was like that, all he thought of was himself. Wham bang, thank you mam. But the thank you was not there. So hang on and wait. There are good men out there. Besides that we are not getting older, we are getting better. Better at knowning what we want and need.

I had gone to the grocery store. When I wheeled my cartback to my car I just stool there a minute. A few spacesaway a Tesla Cyber truck was parked. I had seen it on theroad a few times for a few seconds. But not close up.It looked like it belonged to 2126 and not 2026. I wasgoing to take a picture of the car but the owners cameback and drove away. It was an ordinary middle age...
