I do not believe diets work, but lifestyle changes do.
I would try just a few healthy habits.
Like, drink more water, less soda. Eat more lean protein; watch portion sizes, and go light on the sweets.
More movement, and the wt loss will be slow, but it is more likely to stay off.
Find a plan that works for you and stick to it.
Exercise is crucial!!! Do movements you enjoy, walking or dancing with your favorite music...it helps!!
Good luck with your efforts!!

I've tried a lot of different diets and methods and my conclusion is that any diet will allow someone to shed a lot of water weight in the first week and they all claim a quick 10 pounds, don't they. Well, the news flash they neglect to harp on is the idea that it doesn't matter which diet you're doing, you can lose up to 10 pounds that one week - because it's water weight.
I've pulled ideas from a number of methods and currently am logging everything on "myfitnesspal" and it's helping me stay in line.
Good like finding a healthy balance so that you can enjoy tracking your progress along the way toward making healthy changes that will endure.
We've had a weekly weigh-in thread going for quite a while to help support when people check in. You're welcome to join us:
