Hello, I'm new to DS and to this group. I'm a 34 y/o female, recently battled Cancer for 15 months. I'd say I'm a food addict. Diabetic and about 100 pounds overweight. Needing to lose weight for both my health, and wanting to lose weight because I'm marrying my partner in September :)
I had been completely sedentary during my battle with Cancer, and am just now feeling well again. I have begun going to the gym again, eating healthier (lower carb, lower calorie). Progress is slow, but I'm taking it one step at a time.
Thanks for welcoming me into this group.
