I know everyone knows I get migraines, and I had such a bone crushing one for over 2 weeks. The last 2 days I've been feeling good, so I don't want to over due it on the tread mill.
I need other options for exercise that are fairly gentle. I know stretching is good. I know walking at a slow pace is good. Other than that, I'm kind of at a loss of what I can do that is gentle but still produce results.
So If anyone has any ideas.....please tell me lol.

Usually I get a daily influx of emails on health topics. An article from Dr. Mercola really stood out recently though because it mentioned that fat cells have their own mitochondria. Not only was this the first I'd heard of this, he also mentioned that fat serves a purpose in our metabolism. Another new factoid for me. I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. I also worked up a sweat at the gym...

What about swimming if a pool is available.
I would concentrate more on diet, lean meats, fish, veg and fruits.
My best to you. I guess trial and error are the best....

One is to take advantage of the situation. If you are sitting you can do things like flexing your feet. Getting up periodically and walking around is good for eliminating those long stretches of just sitting around doing nothing.
It is surprising how much work it can take to use low weight dumbbells. Have some 1 and 2 pound dumbbells where you sit/work. (Cans of soup, beans, etc work well if you don't have dumbbells.) Do various exercises with them, being careful to balance your exercise among the different muscle groups.
Weights with Velcro straps can allow you to add small amounts of weight to your ankles. This can allow you to get just a little more exercise from simple things like walking.
Glad that you are able to start getting more exercise!
Ankle weights and or walking, good muscles workout. Do at your pace for comfort.
Dumbbells aka SmartBells. They are great.
General and steady moving around vs sitting or laying down.
Drink a LOT of water every day. Most peoples are well dehydrated and don't realize it.
Use a timer anytime on PC, to get up and move after 30 mins.
it all adds up.
