I keep telling myself every morning I'm going to get up and jog for 30-45 mins. And every time I wake up I just stall and then eventually don't do it. Wtf!!!!

Usually I get a daily influx of emails on health topics. An article from Dr. Mercola really stood out recently though because it mentioned that fat cells have their own mitochondria. Not only was this the first I'd heard of this, he also mentioned that fat serves a purpose in our metabolism. Another new factoid for me. The bottom line for me was to appreciate that even our fat cells play a...

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. I also worked up a sweat at the gym...

But... not your significant other, bestie, whatever. Someone who you can't be mad at for following through. (same reason you should never take sports lessons from your spouse... If you're going to be frustrated, better at someone else and not your s.o.)
Might not work for everyone, but it worked for me.
You might take a look at online sites like "meetup.com" and see if they have any groups that meet in your area for that sort of thing. Also check at work (if you work for a big company) or school and see if there are any groups that would help.
I've also found (for running) that apps like mapmywalk or mapmyrun are good for keeping track, mostly because it will tell you how your pace is, and you can look at a calendar view on the website and see how many days you *actually* did.
Try setting a goal for yourself. Enter a 5k fun-run in your area several months out. This will give you time to work up to a goal. There are plans you can follow (couch to 5k) or you can just do a little more each week until you can do a 5k without walking. I did my first 5k this year with some friends, and it was a good goal to set for myself with 3 months to prepare.
My goal for the year is to do meaningful exercise 5 days a week. So far, I've kept it up. Some days it's 4-5hr of downhill skiing, other days I might visit a gym. Most days I run for 30 minutes. After doing that for 10 weeks or so, I plan my day around it. I find that it becomes irritating now if I don't get my exercise in when I wanted to... which is exactly the place I need to be with it.
There are challenges on "myfitnesspal" sometimes. I signed up for one in 2016... it was very motivating... different challenges like # of crunches, walking mileage, weigh ins. Not sure what's up there currently but I've seen people get motivated to accomplish quite a bit.
