so, we weigh ourselves once a month. avoids the up and downs disappointment of a weekly weight. well from feb 1 to march 1 i have gained 8lbs. that is disgusting. i know the reason. i havent worked all month. and its been so cold out that i havent excerised once all month and i have resorted to alot of comfort foods.but i know those are just excuses and the real fault lies with me. i am just disgusted with me. i remember the days before i had kids when i was 105lbs soaking wet. i had a body to die for. now that weight is so far away. its freezing out making me want to hibernate and i still havent found a job so i am stuck in a rut. need to seriously get motivated but no damn clue how to do that. anyways im just ranting and thanks to anyone that listens

Doing one small physical thing a day thing helped and keeps me feeling better about myself..."one small thing" has been walking around the grocery store twice, parking in a space far away from the store entrance, walking down a flight or two of stairs instead of using the elevator and dancing for 10 minutes while watching TV.
The "something is better than nothing" approach...

1 cup strawberries
2 tbsp. flax seeds if you have them
It sounds gross and like an exaggeration, but it really does help. Good luck to you!! And stay strong.
