Ok, I'm trying this again. By New Years, I hit an all time high of 196 lbs. So I have 60 lbs to lose. I already started back on my slimmest/plant based diet. 2-3 shakes a day, and anything else that I eat has to be either fruit or vegetable, or nuts and legumes. I have already lost 2 lbs.
I didn't go off the rails with sweets, or junk food. I've never been one to eat that stuff. It's bread and pasta. That damn bread and pasta. So once again I have to come off of that.
So I'll be back with the weigh ins :)

I my gosh - yes, breads and pastas are their own challenge, aren't they? We try to use zucchini and other veggies in the place of pastas... also some gluten free flat or pizza type breads. Your diet plan sounds like a winner!! Glad to have you with us while you achieve success and looking forward to your updates!

Not only was this the first I'd heard of this, he also mentioned that fat serves a purpose in our metabolism. Another new factoid for me. The bottom line for me was to appreciate that even our fat cells play a...

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. I also worked up a sweat at the gym...
