Welcome to the site. It is great to have you and I hope you find this group to be supportive and offer helpful information.
I believe in small changes will bring great results. I try to practice portion control and more movement. I do not forbid any food or drink, but believe moderation is best.
That being said, if we are trying to lose, we should have smaller servings, less sugar foods, deserts and drinks.
I try to get back to basics like eat more lean protein, veg and fruits. Eat less processed food and less fast food. When we have slip-ups get back on track asap.
Also, set small goals like 1 or 2 lbs per week, and have patience. This is a lifestyle change and needs a lifetime to accomplish or maintain.
Thanks for the post and let us know how you are doing....
Remember that setting small goals you can achieve is the way to go. It is all about enjoying the process of changing up things as you go too, keeping what works, discarding what doesn't.
So glad you're here!
