Wildwood Day

My brother and sister-in-law from NC are in Wildwood, NJ and I am excited to see them!  I am making potato salad and they are making burgers on the grill.  One of my brothers is iffy about going and his wife is sick.  I hope he decides to do the right thing and goes.  We don't see them much.  I am down 59 pounds since my brother last saw me and even more since my sister-in-law saw me.  I am wearing a great pair of jeans that I got at Goodwill for $1.  If you have Goodwill near you, and they have the Sunday $1 deal for the colors of the day, do yourself a favor and get there when they open.  Almost my entire wardrobe comes from Goodwill.  Happy Sunday!

Greeneyes I am glad you lost the weight to be better/healthier to see your brother and maybe sister in law....I am glad that one is there now with you....sounds like fun....

In St. Louis we have area known as Wildwood which is out in the county pretty far and pretty much country home living and some have horses and stuff out in that area it is very affluent....

glad to have seen wildwood NJ or I would have had to wonder....LOL Not I know your not near me....but one can hope to be able to meet others from here....

Thanks Sunken and Bill! Bill, Wildwood here in NJ is a shore town. There is a great boardwalk with rides and food and shops. We went to my sister-in-law's Mom's place which is very near water. We were supposed to have a thunderstorm but the weather was great! We had a great time! It did pour on the way home though. I made some decaf coffee and am relaxing for now. Your Wildwood sounds nice too! Yes, wouldn't it be cool to meet people from here

I have been to Wildwood. My mom used to love going every summer! She now has passed but I would meet up with her when my kids were little.

I love Goodwill I always get jeans there, and from Savers. It's great!

My Mom's friend had a condo in Wildwood and we stayed there once or twice for a week. The beach is real big there so it takes time to get down to the water. That's a nice memory of your Mom. I get jeans at Goodwill too and I did go to a Savers once.
