On my way home from a mate last night I was stopped by the police.
They asked if I knew why they stopped me, I replied its because they thought I was an oik. They took my name and one of the officers went to check to if I was some sort of mega-criminal.
The other stood there and took to questioning me.

Nope, not yet anyway.
May I ask why?
Because Im prone to trying to off myself when I get overwhelmed and panicked.
At this response he turned away and said nothing else. The other officer came back to declare that I wasnt wanted for anything and they left.
I took the half finished joint out of my pocket and relit it and had a nice walk home.
We pay these people!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...

Honestly I just think some (esp. at the demos I've been too) are just given way too much power, they get bored and actively seek trouble...
On the other side, we do they pay them and I would much rather be stopped for looking like someone who'd commited a crime if it catches them than they don't stop the criminal for fear of annoying people...
I think its just a balance and common sense, although since laws make no sense often and the police (in my experience) are made up of a variety of people some really good and honourable, some stupid and plain mean, we have to suffer stupidity too often... All I really wish is that there was more of a power balance...
Carry a pen and paper, and write down their badge numbers and names and note the conversation etc (although that might annoy them and as mentioned they do have the power to deprive you of liberty) then at least you can official complain should you want to (not that anything will come of it in the UK, hell they can literally get away with murder...) but it may give them cause to think.
Well, ok....but one gun is in front of you, and the other is on my waistband. Look in my purse, that leather wallet, the pink paper....license to carry firearms.

I told C...he's my wanna be dude...swat, police officer...we own horses together.. He said I did the right thing.
same as loads of the other posts on here, it may not be directly relevant, it`s something to read, comment on and hopefully stay distracted FROM being depressed for a few minutes. 4 pages of distraction so far :D

Off Topic posts are welcome here. It gives other people a chance to participate, it encourages a sense of community, CAN be hidden somewhere in the post the way a person is feeling, and allows the person a moment to vent.
