Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I'm so depressed right now it's overwhelming, my mom might not make it, she has been there for me through my depression and anxiety, when no one else was. My siblings don't give any support and jus say I'm crazy. They are ignorant and cold when it comes to mental health. I feel so alone now knowing she won't be there to talk too and try to understand best she could, Always loving without judgement. My siblings aren't taking it as hard as I am right now. I feel so alone in this world now with no one who will have my back like she did.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Our siblings may just put their feelings aside and not acknowledge them or maybe they are uncaring.
When we have a good loving parent, it can be a big loss to us. There are grief support groups that can teach us how normal our feelings are and how to move forward in life. My friend did one and it helped her move forward in life and learn to be on her own, etc. (spouse died suddenly).
Maybe a real life depression group could help you
It may give you the support that you need right now...xo
I would also talk to ypur doctor and see if he/she can refer you to a support group
You might also look into on line therapy...or use chatgpt.com as a therapist...I do that...yes it's ai, but for me being alone it's at least some feed back.
I lost my Dear Mom in 1994, 3 days before her 75th birthday...today all my birth family is gone, including brother and sister.
Family dynamics are tricky, they may have issues that you don't know about, as you have issues they don't understand...doesn't make it right. What I've learned along the road of life is that one can't give/understand what they have never experienced or been taught,,,I hope this will help you to not feel so badly or alone...we here on ds are here to support you...keep reaching out.
Do what you can to keep up your own health, eating well, drinking fluids and getting sleep the best you can...So Very Important for your mental health. If you can, go out for walks being in nature, walking bare foot on the grass heals the body. <3
