I haven't been on in a while. I am slipping into my dark space again. A couple people at work have been making my work life hellish. Not only to I get verbally abused but when I say something about it, certain people tell me I am over reacting and basically are bringing it on myself which I think is total BS. Who asks to be verbally abused?????? I hate it. I feel so alone.
I am totally beaten down at this point and really could use some kind words.

People at work are not there to be your friends...meh. Normally its my mouth that gets me in trouble. Hang in there.
Over the years I've learned to keep my work and private lives strictly seperate, so I no longer hear such stuff directed at me. But...I've heard it directed at others, and it's just awful.
Hard truth, is that such people have learned how to play the game, and to be hurtful in a socially acceptable way. Only real defence (that I know of) is to ignore them. And perhaps, quietly, look for another job.
So think of it as a fun game. You maybe happyer.
