Hello Everyone,
I feel as if my depression has worsened 2019 and currently 2020. Especially these past few months I have been overthinking way too much about little arguments with my family and boyfriend. I feel as if I have become emotionally dependent. I feel as if I have no value, and I have developed a fear of being hurt, I live in constant fear that I will experience something traumatic that will leave to me emotionally and mentally scarred. Honestly, all I do is sit in my room half of the day and cry staring at the ceiling. I feel as if I'm drowning in a pool of water. I can't take scary scenarios out of my head. I try to preoccupy myself with things I like doing, but sometimes It doesn't help for long. This is my first time posting something. I don't think anyone around me can understand or help me. I want to learn how to become emotionally independent and value myself again.

God placed her in my path to stop me. I have been drug and alcohol free now for 53...

We spent a year preparing the whole house, guest rooms, and children's bathroom for older kids of 7 yr old and up. Then we got a call that we have been approved to receive twin newborn premies. What, what?!! Babies!? Premies?!...

It might help you to journal your emotions and feelings and what triggers them. I am not a doctor but it sounds like you might have some anxiety. The key to helping anxiety is relaxation skills such as meditation, exercise or doing things you enjoy as distraction.
I can tell you as a survivor of multiple traumas that while memories of trauma are disturbing and take their toll, positives often emerge. For me that is helping other people through public safety and also through rehabilitation. I hope that you reach out for help and find peace in your life.
