Depression...DEPRESSION! Battled this all my life. I have been to 21 "professionals" and after I paid each of them enough to buy themselves a new Mercedes, I still have nothing but "Cope and Accept"!!!
For many other ailments, there are more remedies than for depression! I have been on basically all anti-depressants, have a good one now, yet-the disease is still in me.
It is literally "treading water" daily for us with depression! We try and stay afloat and not drown, meanwhile consumed with unhappiness, sadness, etc......and it zaps our energy, our zest, and our will to live.
All that keeps me going, is one day, I will die, whether natural or on my own...........

Everyday I feel more and more sick. Being in pain every day, I've learned to disguise it. So well that others don't believe my pain when I speak of it. Needing help but only receiving negative responses, I find my way but pay for it later. I absolutely need the rest but there's pressing things to be done.

Ugh my depression is really being triggered by the grief of losing my mom. Ugh it sucks. I wish this pain would leave me already.

Accept, Cope, are there for us, but your right no miracle to pull us out of the symptoms of the illness. I'm here for you. Lots of sad days, lonely nights
I'm up early, can't sleep well choose to check up on here. I wish I had a good solution. Find things to do, write it all out, dance it all out, whatever it is you do, do it. I should be preaching this to myself right now. Hugs and hope your day becomes a little more tolerable.
I actually feel BETTER accepting depression is a lifelong illness. Why? Because like my asthma I know that I have to treat it everyday. Some days I have a hard time with the asthma and basically sit on the couch and play video games, some days I can run a marathon. Depression is the same. It needs treated everyday. We will have good/bad days but we are always treating it.
We do whatever it takes...meds, writing, just coming here and taking to friends like you make me feel 1,000 times better then talking to most therapists! I like my therapist but he is just a small piece of the treatment puzzle.
God has his plan bro...trust in Him and know we are blessed my brother :)
