Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
>>If she falls from at least a few stories up, she will instinctively turn and land on her feet. There was no way for you to teach her this because if you fall, you can't turn in the air like a cat.
>>she chases things naturally. you have toys that she will chase without even knowing why. This is her predator instinct.
>>She learned to climb all on her own. She learned by instinct.
>>She can jump as well.
I think The Dog Whisperer has really shown to us humans that animals never lose their instincts.
SO, I think she is most likely safe!
Now getting her back.
I would put your clothing in the trap to encourage her to come.
Sit outside and call her.
put out her favorite food and wait for her.
***As to those parents, is there anyway that you can start planning to move out of their home soon? Unfortunately, parents don't always care about the same things that we do!
***My father still believes the word of a total stranger who said that a little gluten (like a slice of bread each day) can't hurt me. He talked to strangers till he found someone to agree with him that my Celiac is really very minor and he can do anything he wants to expose me to gluten. IN fact, Celiac will kill someone who is not 100% gluten free AND he watched me slowly dying using a walker two canes sleeping all the time and no weight at all on my body.
***I stupidly invited my dad to come here me sing solo's. He talked to strangers till he found one who told him "they" (my group) are starting late. "They" (again my group) is just having a meeting today.
he left without hearing my solo.
***Everything is too much trouble for him if it applies to me.
*** I am way over 60 years old. When my sibling threw dad outta his house, I rescued him giving him a place to live.
Some parents just don't care about the children to whom they gave birth. It will never change. You have to accept it, protect yourself and move on getting away from them.
Praying kitty comes home and you find a friend to live with.
Definitely give her some things that smell familiar and encourage her to fatten up a bit. Maybe avoid sudden changes or sounds if possible so she can learn to relax in her environment.
