My brothers and their families and I used to have the best time at our parents' house for holidays. For Easter, I would make potato salad and my Mom would make a ham. There was always laughter. They have been gone for 20 years or so. What was your tradition?

MOM had everyone to her house and always used her cast iron lamb cake mold to make a lamb cake....it was a yellow pound cake usually and had white icing and the black jelly bean cut in half for eyes and a red jelly bean cut in half for nose....ham was the usual.....we ate well....

bill, my mom also had the lamb cake mold which I have now actually since she passed away. She used to make a few lambs, Easter pies and we would have a huge meal with all my siblings.

Nice memories. I am remembering a lamb pan too but we made rice Kristie treats and filled the mold, then decorated it.

We used to go to the park and bring all kinds of food. It is really hard when someone dies. We did that before my aunt died. It used to be a lot of fun. New traditions are always good.

I have nice memories of all my uncles being there. They are all gone now. God how I miss those days.
