Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

One good thing is that after I was done with hospital IOP, we can go to peer support for free once a week in person. I really clicked with the other people in my IOP cohort and kind of became friends with them. The peer support leaders there are awesome. I swear sometimes I get more out of talking to other patients.
One of the people there also has PTSD and it really helped to talk, I was able to relate, it seemed like we had a lot to talk about. I sometimes feel like other patients have more insight and are better listeners than professionals. I guess it's lived experience and basic empathy. I feel a million times better every time I go, and it's only an hour. I'm so happy for it.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
