I texted the crisis like for the first time yesterday so today is my first time on this site. Im lost and lonely. I feel like no one is here. I have no friends and my social life is a wreck. I thought my bf would be a great source to go to when I'm feeling low but he makes me feel worse and then blame it on me. I just cry

I made some bad friendship before. I learned to find better friends. Seening a psychologist might be good to learn from chossing friends and lovers.

Welcome to DS. Keep coming back-you will start making good friends. Talking things over with someone you trust is usually helpful. Maybe try journalling to share your story here? If you want to you can change settings so you can control who sees it. Take some time to explore Daily Strenth. Good luck xxxx

Welcome to DS. Lots of good people here. You are not alone. I don't have friends either, just Drs. that act like one. Seems like I get burned every time I put myself out there. So I stopped. I'm agoraphobic now. Working on getting over it but it's been slow. Over the past year I've been abandoned by people who I thought I could trust. Trying to heal.

We are here for you. If your boyfriend provides a toxic environment for you, then I would leave. Surround yourself with people who love you and support you - not "fair weather friends." You have taken the right steps by coming into this group. There are so many people here who are going to look after you. And remember: it's okay to not be okay. You're allowed to cry, give yourself permission to feel sad or lonely. Accept that even thought you do not like these feelings, you do have them. However, feelings come and go - they will not last forever and you are worth working through these feelings and coming out on the other side. Best of luck to you on your healing journey.

Thank you all for such welcoming and kind words. I haven't been on in a few days because I thought I was feeling better. Well I'm not. I really don't know what to do sometimes. The frustration gets worse. I don't know how to feel better. I can't even put into words what is actually wrong. I'm just lost and depressed. Lonely. How can you be lonely when you live with others right? I ask myself that.

I got an email from Kohl's that I had a 40% off coupon for today and tomorrow only. It took me about an hour but I placed an order and got some great deals. I have been wanting a new dress. I like dressing up sometimes. My birthday is coming up and I have dinner plans at a nice restaurant. But, honestly, I'm a little out of control again. I went through this in the fall. I bought...

Has anyone else noticed that clearly speaking and doing things intentionally is liberating because it helps combat the feeling of depression and a sense of hopelessness? Let me share a little more: in my experience, when those who have tried to project a hidden agenda that is obviously not aligned with integrity and well-being, it's best to be firm and speak clearly from self-awareness and...
