Just Came Here to Sit

I just came here to sit. Not rant, or complain or even try to fix anything. Im just alone a lot way too much.. and I get sad. And sometimes I just need to sit among people.. So I am invisioning a nice room with a wooden floor, and a big fireplace burning tonight, and old record player in the next room playing some soft Ravel piano piece... and in the room are lots of couches, chairs, rockers.. and about 15 people.. all just reading or sitting, writing, and most of all just sharing this.. just this.. here. The sound of the fire crackling, the record, and we all just sit and dont fix, dont try to be happy, nor exhaust sadness, just enjoy and feel the warmth of the field of knowing connection between us all. This place is real, its here now.. I just want to sit in this.. and just be here... if you sense this.. say hello... take a warm chair and just be here. Nothing else is needed.. I am here cause i need this.. thank you all for just being

just sitting.. a nice rocker, and a cat by the fire... some folks are reading, someone just put on an old elton john album softly..... the fire is red embers now..

got some soup simply sitting by the fire, slow spoons of warmth, sharing this space with others... nothing is needed its all here just simple sitting, anything said never ads to what is here.. a nice warm open presence the chair and the fire almost slow dance together rock and fire.... welcome home

Good morning! It sounds like you were meditating without meditating. Good for you tty. We are always here for you! Your scene sounded very comforting. I spend a lot of time alone too. I definitely have always needed a certain amount of time to myself. I'm usually having coffee talk with a friend but he must have gone back to bed. I'm listening to Pandora and it is playing great music.

its a quiet morning here, the fire has been stocked and is burning well, the smell of coffee in the next room.. a cat purrs on the rocking chair... im sitting with a poetry book... the quiet and little sounds become the morning

I do find coming on here and reading posts is helpful. Connecting with people on here as "friends" and then you can read their journals and write your own. I am alone a lot myself.

warm tea and coffee this morning steeping and brewing, an old record of motets Bach plays softly, as the fire burns... a few people just sitting.. some reading some just heads back in the chair.. nothing more.. just that. a collective sharing of silence.

    I just applied for a job that is closer to home and more aligned with my college degree and work experience. It's part-time, but the pay is way better, and I hope to get it.
