Really what's the point
The constant violence, killing, suffering,illnesses, we suffer suffer and suffer and then we get old and suffer some more I don't understand?

I struggle with this too and sometimes I wonder what the point it. Its hard to see so many people go through so much pain in life and its hard to understand. It seems like the people who deserve the best of all things are often the ones who suffer the most.

Then something happens. Like once, I was in line at a grocery store and my card was declined. I was on the road and far from home and trying to buy dinner for my daughter. This man behind me bought my groceries. When I asked for his address to send him the money back he said, pass it on someday to someone who needs it.

Sometimes I think that is why we are here. Because when something like that happens, kindness for no reason, it warms the soul. All things need balance so maybe we are here to balance out the bad.

Sorry I was just really frustrated in how some people and animals are treated around the world. It really gets to me. Thanks for all your thoughts

I don't think that anyone really has the answers to life's mysteries. All we can do is try to carve out a life for ourselves that has meaning and purpose and to do our best to not let the suffering of the world be our undoing. Find something that makes you happy and start noticing what's good about this world rather than just focusing on what's wrong with it. There is a lot of living to be done and plenty of reasons to keep on going. I hope you can find some of those reasons for yourself.
