Yes I am 22 But I am under gaudian shiip Thats why I can't see my best friend The police told me not to and so did my mom They said that we nned to go our seperate ways My mom keeps saying forget her shes not worth it The police said that if I don't do what they say and stay away from her I will end up in jail.

The friend you want to go see is not the one who passed but your best buddy from High School... Can you tell us why your mother will not allow you two to hang out together? Did you two get into some sort of trouble? Just wondering... Can you tell us more?

My friend and I have bben friends since high School She has been there for me through the good times and the bad. She never gave up on me. While in high school I ended up in the mental Hospital 3 times The end of our senior year my best friend had to move to ohio I was crushed I did not want her to leave for the next 2 years I had to live without her. I did it. Then one she called and said Im comming back home I was so happy. But since shes bben back I have been having major problems with my behavior I get angery if she does not want to hang out I get angery if I don't get a email from her. My moms mom had been very in bad health and one day the hospice nurse had to to check on my granny to see how she was doing.

Well I went in while she was at my house to check my email I did not get an email from my friend I got very angery and i ran up and hit my mom right in front of the nurse I ended up back in the mental hostipalMy mom is always trying to break me and my best friend up Shes try to do this ever since high school.

Be grateful you have a mom who gives a shit.

You hit your mom because you were angry about your friend not emailing you? If I was your mom I'd pack up your crap and drop you off at your friend's doorstep myself.

yea I don't understand the control issue with your mom now. My daughter is now 23, she makes her own choices and lives with those choices good or bad.
I support her what ever she decides good or bad. I just remind her tho that if she decides to go off the track and into something illegal and crazy I don't have money to bail her out, she will have to stay that one in jail...lol

Most of us here suffer from mental illness but it just makes us kinder to others. You should never hit your mother or anyone for that matter..

I hope you can get control of your anger problems and get a better grip on life.. Sending you some positive mojo.. Do not hit others honey... Its not a nice thing to do... You should know that..

And one more thing.... when you hit your mom, she was caring for her ill mother, who was in the care of hospice. Do you have any compassion whatsoever?

Have to agree w/ Eph here. Major selfish behavior, no regard for your mom. Sad. I hope you soon wake up and appreciate having a mother who cares enough about you to set boundaries.

It was about being abusive and unappreciative of her mother.

Tabby, I know it's not always easy to admit when you're wrong. But I do believe if you *genuinely* want to get better, the first step is taking responsibility for your behavior.

I can't help but wonder if you've even acknowledged what you did was wrong... you've not shown an ounce of regret or humiliation.

I wish you healing, but I certainly stand firm by what I've said.
