I am so tired of trying...I don't know why but I'm not employable anymore and I refuse to live like this. I know if God is real he doesn't really care about me. I cannot love this way by that I mean being poor with no car or decent place to call my own. I am so unhappy

Just thought I would join this group now that I am a widower. My wife passed away May 28th. She was "The Wind Beneath My Wings". When I met her, I was a drunken, dope smoking, fighting, hell raising biker. She told me if I could get rid of the inner storm within me, that I could be a blessing to people. God placed her in my path to stop me. I have been drug and alcohol free now for 53...

I got an email from Kohl's that I had a 40% off coupon for today and tomorrow only. It took me about an hour but I placed an order and got some great deals. I have been wanting a new dress. I like dressing up sometimes. My birthday is coming up and I have dinner plans at a nice restaurant. But, honestly, I'm a little out of control again. I went through this in the fall. I bought...
Are you in counseling? If not I really think you should find one. Maybe meds as well.
I felt like that many many times too but keep going and my life is definitely not sunshines & rainbows a lot! I'm "poor" as I'm a widow (DH was murdered 3 years ago) on a fixed income, no car, food stamps, and a 4 year old doing it all by myself with no family or IRL friends, however that's just the tip of my iceberg, yet I keep going because I am "rich" in other ways that I'm finally now discovering thanks to switching meds/counseling!
I always say if you can find that one thing or person that makes your heart smile when waking up life is pretty darn good!
Please don't give up on yourself, yes that's easier said than done I know! Plus think of it from others eyes if you were gone how would they feel? Life is about trying and trying even when it seems useless/pointless.
Sending big big hugs!
I can understand the feeling of hopelessness. I've felt like that a lot, too, in the past year or so. But I'm glad I'm still here, even though some days are a lot more difficult than others. Would you be willing to wait a week or so and just see if you feel differently, or if you can turn your feelings around?
Part of the reason I was able to crawl out of the hole is because I realized and started to understand that I don't really want to die. I just want the shit to stop sometimes. I just want to feel better. And do better. And I can't do that if I'm gone.
You're going to be able to turn your life around. You deserve that. In the meantime, please let us support you. We all care so much.
Whatever you do, do not harm yourself in any way. Suicide is not a solution .. it is a huge mistake.

It might be best to contact the schedule makers, and find out directly from them as to what's going on. And if they can offer any tips on how to improve; that almost always speaks directly to HR that you are trying to impress and do your best, and keeps that door open.
Depending on the company's way of doing things, it may have also been a scheduling error. Very rarely have I heard that someone, especially new, gets let go by leaving them off the schedule - It's considered unprofessional and bad taste. How they treat employees says a lot about whether or not it's a healthy environment anyway.
At the very least, you'll find how to improve.
You may want to try out some of Peter's suggestions too - be your own boss. Depending on what you are good at, you can possibly work from home
Just Please don't throw away the chance that tomorrow will be better, because today is passing anyway. If you give up, you'll never know what's around the next corner, and if you don't look for the silver lining, you'll might miss it.
Hugs!
