I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...

A child wanders off and finds himself in darkness.
The child starts to worry and voices in the darkness start whispering.
“You are nothing”
“You are worthless”
The child cries for his parents
“They don’t care about you”
“Why would anyone want to find you”
The child starts crying and the voices get louder and louder and harsher…
But..
A small voice..
Just a tiny voice in the darkness says…
“I am…”
Who are you asked the child.. I can’t see you…
“I am..”
You are the only voice not wanting to destroy me who are you..
“I am…” the voice getting louder and louder..
The voice of the darkness gets louder and louder trying to drown out the new voice..
The child cries… “Where are you how can I find you”
The small voice says “Seek and you will find me”
How can I all I see is darkness…
“I am the light in the darkness”
And the child see’s a small glimmer of light and starts running towards it.
The darkness puts invisible obstacles in the childs way to hide the light and confused the child but he doesn’t give up.
He keeps running towards the light and it gets brighter and brighter.
“I want to find you” says the child “I don’t want to be in the darkness anymore!!”
All of a sudden, the tiny light grows ever bigger and swallows the darkness. Every voice telling the child he is nothing get swallowed by the light.
The light is in front of the boy standing so brightly as to almost blind the child.
The child says “Who are you, I am afraid”
“Didn’t you hear me child. I said I AM”
The child says “I don’t understand? Who are you”
“I AM the creator of all things, I am the bringer of light, I send the all-consuming fire to guard you”
“You sought me out and now I am here standing between you and the darkness”
“I am Love everlasting; I am every breath you take”
“You are my child and I am the father”
“See how the darkness cowers before me”
But I am still afraid says the child. If you leave I will be alone and the darkness will come back.
“Child I will never leave you. Believe in me and the darkness can never find you again. I will give you the power and authority to cast the darkness aside. It can never harm you again. Where you are there will always be light. You will also light the way for others seeking me.”
“The enemy tried to swallow you but you sought me out. I give you strength against the enemy. If it tries to overtake you again it will see that strength and run like a beaten dog”.
“My arms are around you so you are never alone. I am always with you”

This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.

but remember God doesn't promise an easy life. He does promise an eternal life.
God will help carry you through the darkness. Accept the holy ghost into you and build faith in him. He will help you through the darkness every day if you let him.

“You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.”
Build your faith each day. God will help you know exactly how he helps you and you will feel his glory even when bad things happen. God will give you strength to face the challenges and he will build you ever stronger than you have ever possibly believed you can be.
