Hi everyone! The sun is shining here. I am planning on taking a bike ride for the first time in 3 years, maybe 4. When I was little, I swore that I would always ride a bike. So I want to get back into it. My brother's gave me the money to buy a bike and my best friend was able to get it to my house. We even went to the shore and road on the boardwalk. Later, I am going to shop for a few new tops and bottoms. I am in the midst of a diet. I want to lose 75 pounds. I have changed my diet substantially but I cannot feel deprived or I will obsess about food and fail. So my snack can be a banana or cookies. My best friend does not support this type of dieting. She may lose weight faster than me but then she binges on food and alcohol on an ongoing basis. In the end, I do what I know works for me. A big plus for me with losing weight is that it should help with a medical condition that I suffer from. I am going on and on. My best friend is with her boyfriend, another friend is working, another friend is calling me tonight and I haven't heard from another friend who I talk to frequently. I have tons on my mind. I am also seriously thinking of getting a new computer and having my old computer files, with an awesome selection of music, transferred. I haven't had a computer for 5 years. I basically depend on my cell phone. In fact, I haven't had my television on for over a year. I got very bored with constant reruns. With my phone, I can watch what I want. You know what I mean, Vern? Have a nice day!

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
I loved reading your post- you sound so confident and sure of your plans. I’m so, so glad that you’re continuing to do what’s best for you, even when other people tell you it isn’t. They don’t know you like you know you- only you know what’s best for you, and I think it’s amazing that you recognize that.
I hope you have a lovely bike ride, and I hope you enjoy the process of getting a new computer - something like that is always lots of fun!
Keep trusting yourself, and have a wonderful day.!
