I got an email from Kohl's that I had a 40% off coupon for today and tomorrow only. It took me about an hour but I placed an order and got some great deals. I have been wanting a new dress. I like dressing up sometimes. My birthday is coming up and I have dinner plans at a nice restaurant. But, honestly, I'm a little out of control again. I went through this in the fall. I bought...

Has anyone else noticed that clearly speaking and doing things intentionally is liberating because it helps combat the feeling of depression and a sense of hopelessness? Let me share a little more: in my experience, when those who have tried to project a hidden agenda that is obviously not aligned with integrity and well-being, it's best to be firm and speak clearly from self-awareness and...

then you need to choose one. I recommend the smallest and easiest.
And then you have to fix it.
When you have 20 things wrong with your life, your brain will tell you to kill yourself. It won't give you any solutions to the small things. it will make the little ones appear huge. it will tell you that no matter what, it all ends badly. Don't listen to that crap.
If you don't feel you can choose one issue and resolve it (possibly by having to have an uncomfortable conversation) then you need a counsellor.
But one thing you can GUARANTEE is that killing yourself does not improve your life. Your life stops improving at that point. there is no more life.
If you really feel you are in danger of ending your life, check into the voluntary psych ward at your local hospital and stay for 72 hours until you get some counseling and a med adjustment and feel better.
Going inpatient has saved my life more than once when I was suicidal. Don't be afraid to get help.
Therapy is a very good place to start. Medication may or may not be suggested, and even if suggested you may not "have" to go that way.
But please start therapy! Use it to help you define where you are, define an acceptable achievable future, and plot a path to get you there.
It can be done (live and find a better place), and it is possible for all of us to do it.

We love you, Ms Jessicachase .... and we don't want any harm to come to you ... ESPECIALLY any you may bring onto yourself.
Are you seeing a psychiatrist, therapist, and/or taking any medication? Please call your doctor or go to the hospital if you are feeling suicidal. Do you have a good friend that you can talk to?
