I woke up feeling kind of heavy today, I don't know why this happens sometimes.  I received a text message from my mom wanting me to come over and watch the fireworks, my parents are pretty old so I'm trying to spend time with them. I would have liked to, but my brother is extremely negative and one of the issues that I'm working on in therapy is to stay out of that.  I'm going to skip it today.  I hung out with them on Sunday, we went out to lunch and he and my dad started arguing the minute they got to the restaurant.  There's only so much of this I'm going to deal with. He's also obvious about his political view in IMHO he is r**ist and misogyn*st.  So I want to stay away from that.  I always feel this sense of dread when she invites me to the house.  He is almost 50 and won't move out of their house, and they are so tired of him.  It's just a negative energy to be around.  I've also had financial issues, so this is a problem too.  Anyway, that is part of why I feel this way.
